Swarovski, whatelse!
When I was thinking about reformulating the concept of sterling silver locket pendants I knew these jewels might be appealing to a certain niche and therefore we wanted to get 
rid of the old look they usually have, and to make them less dull and definitely more fashionable and elegant. Here at Silverissimo Collection we trade only in sterling silver 925, and this is of course an assumption, but that wasn't quite enough "preciousness": we wanted our sterling silver lockets to be noticeable, fashion and sparkly! This is when my mind went to Swarovski, a brand and I loved since I was a child. Swarovski brings me a lot of romantic and dear memories with my family and the famous "vetrine", a piece of Italian furniture usually placed in the living room, a room that you could access only for special occasions!

Swarovski and its crystal-based animal and figurines where always part of any child dreams along unicorns and cotton candy! The crystal used, and its rainbow-effect coatings, always played with our imagination, back then and still today!
Our first designed model, Sabina's Heart, represents the complexity and multi-faceted nature of love. The sterling silver heart pendant is encrusted with 88 Swarovski precision-cut stones famous for their purity and true inner brilliance comparable to natural diamonds. Each zirconia features a Pure Brilliance cut which according to Austrian Made Swarovski equals the Tolkosky diamond cut, "only" the most brilliant diamond cut in the world. We also thought that the multi-faceted nature of the Swarovski zirconia stones would be in a way mirroring the faceted design of our heart. We also LOVED the fact that Swarovski is complying with the Austrian's high social and environmental manufacturing standards, which is something that goes on top with our initiative in collaboration with 8BillionTrees.
Our first Sabina's Heart prototype featured Swarovski crystals but we knew we could offer an even sparkler results with Swarovski zirconia since they reflect light exactly like a diamond. Swarovski's stones are a perfect match for our sterling silver necklaces and lockets and they will certainly attire some attention....the right kind of! :-)
